Submission of Full Papers

Complete papers (not abstracts) are required for review. These must be uploaded onto the PROSE online submission and review system accessed from the main menu. Papers must be uploaded as a PDF document for review. If accepted, a full set of publication files in MS Word or LaTeX must be provided.

Accepted papers will be published by Springer Verlag, as book chapters in a volume of their Engineering Series and indexed in ISI conference publications, EI, INSPEC, etc.

Papers must be formatted according to the Springer instructions to be found ..here.. Instructions are provided for preparing the document using MS Word and LaTeX - you may use either method.

Each accepted paper will be published as a book chapter, hence authors should follow the Springer instructions as if preparing a single chapter for book. Ignore the section in the Springer instructions entitled "Manuscript Submission to Springer", as authors will submit individual chapters and these will be assembled into a composite manuscript which the conference organisers will submit to Springer.

The guide length for papers is eight to 10 pages in Springer format. Longer papers may be acceptable - please contact us. Papers much shorter than the guide length should be submitted as Short Papers.

To ensure high quality, all papers will be thoroughly reviewed by the conference International Programme Committee. Papers may be rejected without being sent to the reviewers if it is judged that they are not suitable for the conference on the basis of content, quality or length.

The papers will be scheduled for presentation either orally or by poster, depending on their attributes, author preferences and referee recommendations. Please note that poster presentations are regarded as being of equal importance and status to oral presentations.

Submission of Short Papers

Short Papers in the form of an abstract of one or two pages, summarising the subject and content of the talk, should be uploaded onto the PROSE online submission and review system accessed from the main menu. Papers must be uploaded as a PDF document for review. If accepted, a full set of publication files in MS Word or LaTeX must be provided.

Short Papers will be distributed in the conference digest and scheduled for presentation either orally or by poster, depending on their attributes and referee recommendations.

Registration

All oral and poster papers must be presented by one of the authors who must register for the conference and pay the fee. By submitting a paper you undertake that you will attend the conference and present the paper if it is accepted. By submitting a paper you also indicate that you accept the conference Terms and Conditions, available by request or on the conference web site, and that you agree to abide by them
